Hello Cindy! We treat all children with orthopaedic conditions or spinal cord injuries. We take any and all additional needs into consideration and we are happy to work with families if a patient is on the autism spectrum.

Shriners hospital accept kids till 21years old.
This is amazing place!
My son was in the car accident 4years ago.He stayed in 7 different hospitals in Bulgaria, Germany and US. Shriners hospital it's very different!We love it!They are making miracles!Great experience!
If you are coming from another state or city the hospital can organize your stay in McDonalds house. This is another great experience!

His old is he . I know they deal with kids with spinal injuries but it's for kids I believe up to 18 years. But they are really good

How do I seak help for a hotel room for us while our son has a 2 day appointment. And we really can't afford to pay for it. Also we live 5 hours away so we can't afford to travel back and forth both days

Their specialty is orthopedics- in addition to Spinal Cord Injuries. They do however, have associate physicians in Neurology, Rheumatology, and Plastics. I am not aware of any cardiac physicians thus far. Hope this helps.
Hi Joyce. We are an orthopaedic hospital, meaning we treat children with orthopaedic needs or spinal cord injuries. Many of our patients have additional medical needs, including hearing issues, but we are not able to treat those needs as their primary condition.
They were redoing their scheduling system. They just called me back to schedule my appt for Aug at the end of last week so hopefully they should call you back. I'm sure if you call them again they would help you. What department are you trying to get in to see?
Where is the old Shriners Hospital in Philadelphia. My son was there when he was 4 years old and now he is 28 and he would like to see him.
