This review is well overdo but truly well deserved! Earlier this year Barbara designed a beautiful custom ring for my friend, Marie, made from the diamonds from two very special family heirloom rings. So impressed with Barbara's kindness, patience and design skill all while not pushing to go with more expensive options that would have been outside the desired modest result that perfectly aligns with my friend's personality. Now the treasured heirlooms have been re-made to an elegant piece that will be held close to the heart, worn often and will prompt moving family stories to be shared for years to come. I absolutely would recommend Barbara Oliver to design a one of a kind ring!! I had my engagement ring and anniversary band from my late husband as well as my grandmother’s engagement ring from the 1920s. Yes, she is located on the third floor of an office building. There is a parking lot behind it.
Typically we do appraisals on the spot, so you don't have to leave your jewelry. There are some exceptions. For example, if you have numerous pieces for an estate that need to be appraised, we may ask you to leave those pieces. FYI: We are a walk-in shop, so we do appraisals in-between customers. If you can come during the week instead of Saturday, our busiest day, that would be greatly appreciated.
If you would like a verbal review to determine how much a piece is worth or exactly what it is, we provide this as a complimentary service. If you need a written appraisal for insurance with complete documentation, there is a $45 charge per piec.
You are welcome to stop in any time. No appointment needed. With that being said, if your schedule doesn't allow you to come in during regular hours, please give us a call and we will.be happy to accommodate you.
Yes, we will gladly size your ring even if you didn't buy it from us.
No. All repairs are done in-house by our goldsmith Dan who is a master craftsman.

Indeed we do Glenda! You will view a CAD (computer aided design) rendering showing all the aspects of what the finished piece will look like. You will see the piece from every angle, ensuring your delight with the finished product. While in CAD form, prior to the 3-D model, we can make any changes you desire and we will work with you every step of the way!
