Over the phone or email estimates are just that, estimates! The only way to really know how long your move will take is when we arrive at your pickup location. Movers will let you know how long it will take before your move starts, please let us know your budget in advance and we will consider it as long as it’s reasonable. "I don't have a lot or it shouldn't take that long", "Last movers finished in 1 hr", "My 60 year old grand mother and my 9 year old nephew moved me in 1 hr", (believe it or not, it happened - not joking!!) Comments like these will not be taken into account. We only look at your move from an objective point of view not a subjective point of view, please be sure to let us know your budget in advance. Size, weight and shape of furniture, long walks, elevators, stairs, loose items, picture frames, disassemble, reassemble, number of items, readiness and distance between origin and destination address are all variables that play a part in the time it will take.
Yes, even if you see damages to items at the time of the move, you are legally responsible to pay the full amount for the move. Then you must go through the claims process set by the TX Department of Motor Vehicles.
During very light rain, we keep it moving but we might suggest an alternative day if we feel the environment is not right. Heavy rain, flooding, snowing, slippery roads (icy roads) or any weather-related issues cause extreme low viability and/or make roads impossible to drive on. In this event, we have the right to cancel or reschedule your move to the next available opening with no discounts or credits. Please take into consideration, bad weather can make a move take a bit longer as we do not like to put your furniture nor our movers in danger due to any slippery, watery, or muddy surfaces.
We have 17 ft and 24 ft trucks and the size of the truck will depend on the inventory list you provide. Every truck is outfitted with professional moving pads, dollies, tools and everything else necessary for the move.
Good question! Our travel fee is a one time charge that covers the transportation of our movers, truck and equipment from our office to your home and city moving from and city moving to.

We have the standard tools to disassemble and reassemble your furniture in order to take it out/in of your housing Also, it might save space while loading our trucks. There will be instances your item might require a special tool that only comes with your piece of furniture. If so, please have the specialty tool available. Keep in mind, disassembling and reassembling any furniture does take some time therefore if you are on a strict budget we recommend for you to have this done before the movers arrive. Attention: Remember to have a plastic zip bag or containers to save your screws from the furniture that was disassembled. This is an easy way to make sure none of these get lost. We do not disassemble pool tables, baby furniture, trampolines or play sets. Your mover may ask you to sign a waiver when disassembling and reassembling certain items for the protection of both you and the movers and your item!
We accept Cash and most Credit Cards as a form of payment. Visa, MasterCard , American Express and Discover are accepted. No Checks or Gift Cards are accepted. Transportation charges are due prior to unloading at the destination address. Note: If paying with a Credit/Debit Card, the following must be physically present. If any of the above is missing, we will not run the Credit/Debit Card for security purposes and fraud prevention. 1. Card holder 2. Physical credit card with name of card holder. 3. There is no fee to reschedule your move. However, we do ask to please let us know as soon as possible if you are needing to reschedule your reservation.Changes to our reservations calendar have a ripple effect on our customers that are booked and in our business systems.
Yes, Please note, driving around to multiple locations will take extra time. Since we operate on a per hour basis, the cost will be higher. Time does not stop while driving from one place to another. You have the option to break up a move on different days. If you prefer to do this, please let us know as we will need to check our availability. We do have a 2 hr minimum on all of our moves so it may be better to do it all at once.
Customer/Shipper is not allowed to ride on company vehicles. It is strictly prohibited for anyone other than the movers to be near truck ramps, lift gates, inside or near elevators, halls, pathways, inside of the truck or in the way of the movers while the move is in progress. Helping the movers will not make your move go any faster. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR INJURIES OR DAMAGES THAT OCCUR TO, OR ON BEHALF OF, A CUSTOMER'S ACTIONS.
Yes! When moving, all drawers must be empty of items so we can safely transport your furniture. The extra weight could make moving the dresser unsafe. If you choose to leave items in your drawers, we suggest to not leave any breakables or anything that will damage your furniture and items inside. You are also stating you are aware and take full responsibility for any damages to your drawers if items are not removed from the inside.
