My wife and I stayed there for 3 nights in the Summer of 2021. We fell in love with the place. We are back for 7 nights this year and we can't wait. We have a 34 foot motorhome.

I wasn't able to stay. I was calling to inquire. I asked about a specific weekend and she said she had no availability. I was looking for a cottage so wanted to make sure it was the cottages that were booked and not the campground, so I asked to clarify "no cottages available either?: She was very rude and said "didn't you hear me say I was booked". so I said: "oh i'm sorry, you don't have to be so mean about it, I hope your day gets better" In the sweetest voice I could muster. Always better to take the higher road, but I'll never inquire back here again.

Winter Harbor is beautiful. Parked right on the harbor. The only hiccup we had is with our smokeless firepit. The owners have a central firepit they want campers to use to help keep down smoke that might upset the neighbors. They were extremely kind when they approached us about our fire. So I would suggest a propane pit or use the park provided pit. Otherwise the entire stay was trouble free and the hosts were very kind.

Wonderfully hospitable hosts; the cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed to cook dinner; views were outstanding. We had such a peaceful time at Mainstay Cottages. Cannot wait to go back.
