This review is honestly long overdue. I’m a barista at another Starbucks going on 2 years, but while I was at Drake and now at my “grown up” job, I began frequenting this location. Due to the lack of drive thru, it always feels a lot more like a real cafe than other Starbucks locations. I feel that these baristas constantly put in their best to connect with customers and always make drinks well (and according to standard). Each one that I have interacted with morning or evening has been pleasant and masterful with their craft. They go above and beyond to provide amazing customer connections and drinks at the same time. They’re a great group, and I am extremely grateful for them. Only wish I could tip them more than I have!

My husband works at Nationwide so he frequents this Starbucks. They know him by name and if they see him coming his coffee is ready by the time he walks in the door. He loves it. As for me, I have seen many Starbucks all over the country and I do have to say this is one of the best. I wish they had a drive thru or more parking, but it's location prohibits that. So can't be helped.

I"m a downtown resident and been going to this Starbucks for years. After traveling around quite a bit including the original Bux, I can say this is probably the best group of associates - they are always accommodating and really nice and it doesn't matter if they are new or long time baristas. Never had a bad experience. Their manager is also stellar. Keep up the good work and the good drinks.

This is the nicest local Starbucks in the Metro! Not only are they incredibly accommodating and understanding of allergies, as well as preferences, their employees are very good at want they do, calm, and personable. Not to mention any adaptions I've done to orders, i.e. low sugar(half syrup,) and pairing that with items from their health food section. It definitely feels more relaxing than some Starbuck's I've been to. The layout is great, and there are places to do work, patio, and typical setup otherwise.
