I have been with T-Mobile since they were still Primeco. I have spent thousands of dollars on phones and accessories and generally have not had an issue with my service, until yesterday when I needed to get a new screen protector for my One Plus 8 5G phone. For some reason they no longer carry the screen protector in store. No worries though, I will just use my warranty which allows me to get free screen protectors sent to me.....or so I thought. Upon entering the store I was greeted by none other than the Retail Sales Manager on duty. What should have been a quick request and in and out visit turned into a contentious back and forth between me and the manager. I was basically called a Liar and told that I had never purchased my protection for my phone and that since I didn't have proof of purchase from over a year ago I couldn't get a screen protector replacement. I explained when, where and how I had experienced issues with their system ever since the merger with Sprint. They couldn't find the purchase of my phone from 2021 when I had another issue with my phone case. But for this visit I was refused service and when I pointed out that I had received 2 replacement screen protectors for my phone since my upgrade he told me that clearly they used the wrong system and didn't check properly and sent me the screen protectors when they weren't supposed to. At this point I was done going back and forth with him and asked for a resolution as to how they could update their system and I could get a screen protector. He told me to purchase one through Amazon😳😠🤔🤨😒🤐🤯I literally had to call 611 to get assistance. The phone customer service is exemplary. The store's? Not so much. Needless to say, I will never go to this location or the one off of 183 across the street from Ross. The employees in both stores at least the managers are horrific. I will be switching from T-Mobile soon as I am tired of the horrible in store experience.
