This is the worst place any body can think of sending a relative to. It smells, full of rats and mice and residents are not given the best because they are always short of staff. They don't treat staff well so we always leave after working for a while. Poor poor management. Terrible place.

Would give 0 stars if I could! The staff are rude and disrespectful to residents and their families! They talk on the phone will in a resident’s room, and most do not want to be there, clearly! My dad is at Golden Acres but we all wish he wasn’t! Can NOT wait to move him. Stay clear! Consider this a sign to not move a loved one here. Almost all the other reviews are by current or past staff.

I toured this facility and saw nurses excited and hugging residents returning from being away from the facility. It was really apparent that they loved the people they cared for and loved where they worked. Was also blown away by their therapy program including the quiet room full of sensory items for people with dementia, anxiety, etc. Really impressed and would trust this place to care of a loved one of mine.

The staff is very caring and professional. The management team is always available to address any of your concerns. I would refer this facility for your long term care as well as rehabilitation needs.
