We stopped by here a few years ago when we were passing through town. The food and service were really good. We tried to go by again last Saturday only to find they don’t start serving food until 1:00pm. I don’t know if it was a staffing issue or their normal hours, but I would recommend calling them if you are going very far out of the way to go here. We’ll definitely try again next time we’re in town.

If you have any reason to stop here on your way down the highway, do yourself a favor and do. The vibe here is country-chill and the food is DD&D worthy. The bison sloppy joe is awesome even before the sauce. Cold beer makes it all complete. They have a VERY respectable bar selection and the guys behind the counter care about your order and your satisfaction. If you want the “in-kitchen” experience, sit at the bar and you won’t miss any of the action. Salt & Pepper French fries. What?
