I had a nice time, in part, I was passing through and had to stop, do to having an 8-9 month old puppy named Bear and also goes by “Oso”! A great dog in training!

Staff is very helpful and are great to speak with about our State Parks. Stop in to see the newly added White Bison, commonly called Buffalo, but are Bison. They are rare and not commonly seen. Talk with the staff, visit the visitors center, they can tell you alot of information about the animals, trees and native plants in the area

This is the best rest area! Clean restrooms, small playground for young children, plenty of space to walk a dog, local taxidermy displays, and viewing of small herd of elk and bison. It's right of I-80, next to the actual state park (sends to be shared land).

Probably the best rest area in the USA. A quiet gem most people just dive by. They have live wild Buffalo and some trophy sized elk. Where else but wyoming?
