For the most part I enjoy living in this community with the exception of a few things I will start out with the positives first. The office staff is so friendly, they just warm my heart!! professional, always willing to help. Nice to my toddler and says hello which I love even though she’s really busy. The maintenance request are done at lightening speed I love my place it feels cozy and the trails and desert breeze is amazing. Love the email updates on important events but could use less of the reminders about putting five day notices on doors. I’m sure everyone knows when rent is due and it is just tacky you never know what people are going through and some residents may have to pay their rent late from time to time. Which I’m sure they are worried about without the you will be evicted e-mail. I just feel It takes away from the professional feel of the complex. A gently reminder or direct communication to the specific residents seems more professional. What I feel is missing is the lack of community here with the residents. I have been racially profiled several times and I’m sick of it and it’s too much to even go fully into it. I have said hi and smiled and have had people look at me as if I have a disease, Pool doors slammed in my face before walking in behind other residents. ( pregnant with my hands full) And even was profiled about living here picking up my packages and showing proof. Because a women 7 months pregnant waddling up to a door is really coming to rob a package room on camera right? I am not use to living around people that lack humility and a sense of kindness not sure that the office staff can even do anything to help this issue or if more community events where the residents actually got to know their neighbors and what they LOOK LIKE would even help. Sometimes I feel like I need to wear a shirt that says “ yes I LIVE HERE “ The community part just lacks this isn’t a fault of the staff or ownership this is a kindness issue and character issue.

My husband Joe and I have been residents for 5 years. We love our one bedroom floor plan! It's so intentionally thought out! It had been fun to be newly weds and have a safe, cozy place to enjoy Arizona Sunsets from our patio At the beginning of COVID, one of our neighbors had a fire on their patio. My husband ran down stairs and was able to save the building. Thanks to the responsiveness of the staff, the building was safe and damaged to the building was minimal. Hilda and Kathy have always made @marquissonoranpreserve home.

My family and I have lived at the Marquis Sonoran Preserve apartments since December of 2017. From the second we came to take the tour, we knew this is where we wanted to live. Hilda was friendly and accommodating. She made us feel so welcomed. Cathy, at the office, is always ready and willing to help. Brad & the crew are amazing maintenance guys. Maintenance issues are taken care of immediately and professionally. We enjoy the gym, the pool, the dog park and the club house. We love living here!

Pretty cool place to live. It’s quiet and safe for the most part. Only complaint is the few people who decide to spin their tires when they leave.
