If you want to get care, don't waste your time with Penn Medicine Sleep Center. They can't do anything without first making you wait a month, whether that is seeing a physician, following up about a pre-auth approval, or scheduling an at-home sleep test. By the time you actually get care to treat your condition, you'll have had to wait four months. Frankly, it's embarrassing, and there are services out there which can get you care more quickly and for less money. The time Penn Medicine forces you to wait just results in harm to patients who are being strung along instead of treated. Penn Medicine may be good at some things, but when it comes to sleep care, their slow and interminable service is an awful experience.

Office staff is uninformed or simply does not care. I asked to be seen by a specific provider only to be told, after travelling two hours, that he has retired. The provider that I did see was either unmotivated or had a serious language barrier issue or possibly both. Beyond useless. The treatment we 'discussed', and which I was a aware of prior, I had to look up afterwards, as I was given almost no details. This is literally the pits when it comes to healthcare and my expectations were low to start. Please don't ask me to fill out your survey Upenn. You simply are worthless. Another day, another dollar, patients are nothing more to you. Patients: please find another office.

They rent out hotel rooms which I think is a good thing. But it seems like they remove the hotel beds and give you these hard hospital beds and flat pillows to sleep on. Very uncomfortable sleep experience! In all fairness I have not seen a sleep center that has good reviews.

HORRIBLE AND INSENSITIVE ABOUT THEIR PATIENTS' NEEDS. NO ONE THERE CARES . I WILL NOT ALLOW THEM TO TAKE CARE OF MY DOG. I DON'T KNOW WHY PENN MEDICINE STILL ALLOW THIS PLACE TO ASSOCIATE WITH THEIR NAME BECAUSE THEIR QUALITY OF CARE IS WHAT YOU SEE IN THE 3RD WORLD COUNTRIES. THE WORST IS ,AS A PATIENT, IF YOU REPORT TO PENN MEDICINE QUALITY MGT , THEY WILL IGNORE YOU, AND THE PROBLEM CONTINUES.
