This was a great place to stay. The lake view is 5+ stars. The rooms are nice, clean, and up to date. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast options were ok. Not bad but ok. I give it 4 stars because of the price. For the price I would have expected more comfortable beds, nicer pool, and a much better breakfast. Do get me wrong, this is a great place with great views. I just think for two queen beds at $400 for one night I expected a little more comfort.

I was in Duluth for a conference. This hotel did not disappoint. Located next to the left bridge and canal park, great for not having to drive anywhere. Service was prompt and friendly. I had two different rooms (one with and one without a balcony) for my stay and the transition from room to room was easy. Both rooms were clean up on entry. Stay came with breakfast. It was a decent breakfast, I was able to pick up biscuits and gravy, sausage link and eggs with cheese. Hotel has a pool with a spa and a small fitness facility. This hotel is kid friendly, pets are not allowed. Also, cleaning service is not daily, but you can leave a hanger on your door to request it if needed. I would recommend this hotel if you are staying in Duluth and want to be close to Canal Park and the convention center.

Now I don’t write many reviews but let me explain why I am putting a 1 star here. The overall stay was nice and the staff was amazing. The front desk helped me find my lost airpods after moving rooms, and another staff helped with room issues like new towels, soap and toilet problems. This one staff that helped us left our room very upset after trying to help unclog our toilet. The equipment that the staff was very poor and outdated. He used 2 different types of equipment and they still barely helped. The toilet was left scratched and the staff apologised many times for it. It was not the staff that help us fault. This hotel needs to get their staff new equipment as the don’t know the clients that come in and have medical issues. The runner of this hotel is putting their staff in more of a stressful and upsetting state by keeping out dated equipment. Other than that I thank the kind man that helped us Sunday evening and you did everything you could with what you were given.

Just checked in and already love it. Incredibly clean room, friendly staff, lemon water in the lobby!! Mattresses are on the firm side. Great selection of in-house toiletries including shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, facial bar, lotion, and a towel specifically for makeup.
