A bit of a hike back to the area unless you drive ignoring the signs.

Today (Nov 30,2021) it was my second time here. I haven't been since April 15,2020 Little Red Rock (don't confuse it with Red Rock) has some amazing red Aztec sandstone outcroppings to scramble in and around. are the petroglyphs even if, unfortunately some parts of this site have been vandalized with graffiti UNFORTUNATELY the constructions aren't stopping and won't stop and it is getting harder and harder to get there.

Little Red Rock is beautiful and it is larger than it appears from the nearest road. It looks almost as tall as Red Rock. Small valleys pass right by the two tallest red plateaus. I only wish there was a road to get there without going off-road. There is also a cliff that used to be a waterfall when the climate was much better. A concrete barrier was built either so that nobody steps too close to the edge and falls, or so that rainwater would collect and form a pond.

If you don't have a 4wd or hcv, your best bet is to park at the the end of Far Hills Rd. I've seen cars drive past the stone wall towards the end or park on the dirt before it. The only difference is saving yourself a half mile hike.
