Not what it once was, but the course was kept up fairly well especially considering how dry it has been. They have a fair amount of snacks and shirts for purchase. Reserving a tee time online was fast and easy. The gold carts were all in good condition and overall we had a great round.

The challenge of this course is very good. Get used to breaking putt’s when playing. The manager and employees are very accommodating and friendly!!

A well kept and very nice course for the price charged. There are some nicer courses in the Springfield/Republic area, but none at anywhere close to the affordability of this course. I read a scathing review below of the employee referred to as "the short girl" and have to chime in. The girl she is referring to is very nice and polite. I have never seen her in an unkempt or disheveled appearance. And in fact, have never seen her look anything but energetic and upbeat. She works at the other courses as well as Island Green, and is a customer favorite at all of them. Most employees anywhere tend to be a mirror reflecting back the attitude of the customer. This reviewer might want to look in the mirror and see if the problem was of her own making. As my dear old father likes to say, no matter how thin you pour the pancake, it still has two sides. Give Island Green, Deer Lake or Green Hills a try. All three are some of the best deals you will find for golf, and the monthly membership is dirt cheap and includes fitness centers and swimming pools. The monthly is about the one day green fee anywhere else, including the overcrowded municipal courses in Springfield.

Huge shout out to the young woman working! She was thoughtful and patient while explaining the differences between membership rates as well as other fees and helping me pick out the perfect shirt for my husband. Definitely recommend this location.
