I would like to compliment Paul for his assistance to me this morning. I called in to the Recorder’s office to see if the office was open for me to get a copy of my deed. Paul was fantastic, he asked if I knew about the online search capability for me to get my deed. I explained that the deed was dated in 1986 and had tried unsuccessfully to find it. Paul said that it was able to be found but was a little complicated. After a brief discussion Paul volunteered to look it up for me so I would not have to come downtown. I gave him my information and about an hour later he called and said he found it. He volunteered to send it to me or could give me the book and page, which he did. While he was on the phone I went to the web search and found it in about 5 minutes. I was able to save and print the pages based on Paul’s help. Paul went above and beyond in a very helpful way. I was so impressed and grateful. Paul’s service to me is a glowing testament to the Recorder’s Office. A Hamilton County resident for 49 years.

Friendly staff. Quick service. I took a document in to be recorded. It was scanned and showed up on the website that same day. Thank you so much!

if you are wanting the documentation to show that the house is paid off, that is the mortgage relesease. The deed will not show when or if you have paid off the property. Both documents are avaliable from the County Recorder either online (recordersoffice.hamilton-co.org )or you can go in person. The office is on Court Street downtown.
