I honestly am unsure why they have a phone number if it's not answered after ringing for 45 minutes. Justice at work I suppose.

Don't try to call and ask information about your ticket, they don't answer the damn phone. They sure do want there money though.

If you have a day in court and you are critically ill on that date what can you do?

You go to the Justice Center the very next day (Rm 115 or 117, I believe, it says 'Recites' on the door though and the court bailiffs can also point you in the right direction) and get a recite and a new court date. They'll give you up to 2 recites on an open warrant for a new court date. You need to make sure you go the following day or as soon as possible so you aren't walking around with an arrestable warrant over your head though.
