It's against the law to pull over for anything. Ur not suppose to be on your phone and drive. I was sitting in my truck looking at something that was important. Police come up on me no lights. I am going hell as it is with my own personal issues. First ok day I have had. I am hoping to move into these apts. Now the police added to my gut feeling. First they say well someone said u were asleep. U can see someone reading their phone. Bc. Then he asked for my drivers license for about asking for insurance? To another cop coming up asking to search through my car. I have been staying im a hotel I had some dirty clothes in a bag. I always stick up for police. Especially Dayton. If they r that bored I truly believe they should switch and give Dayton police a break. I had nothing to hide but maybe dirty underwear. At least this time they asked. Also if I had a firearm. I had 2 DUIs when I was young. This plate thing is already a problem. Another way for them to do what they want. Again I will say they gave me a choice. Iam 50yrs old. I told the cop the truth he saw. So I went to carrying a weapon to whatever else they think. Protect and serve. I seen alot of people on the streets or walking to get home. I just get tired of being bullied and o cant just at speedway. I forgot to even ck my tire ? Watching me leave. Bc.

Officer Callahan was blacked out behind some bushes facing Moraine next to shell. When this interaction took place. She came to my window and asked if I know why she stopped me I told her no and that she didn’t use a turn signal or the turn lane to turn on the road she pulled me over on. I confronted her about the fact my radar detector didn’t go off so I don’t understand how she claimed she was running radar she told me having a radar detector was illegal and took my DL. She had me walk back to her car and look at the radar in her car I didn’t see anything but didn’t feel like arguing with a cop that clearly was confused. She asked about my plate and seemed like she enjoyed making people days bad.

Probably one of the friendliest people I've met. The high school RSO is nice, sad to see her leave this year.

great people. Great job. Thank you for your help tonight. I do have to say this police department is the only one that would have helped with car issues. Even though it’s not really in their job title they will still help. I would give them 10 stars if was an option because 5 stars give them no justice
