Overall the building is nice; however, there are a few things that are just not working: 1) Mail room: had a few instances where they could not find a package, gave me a wrong package or recorded a package as mine while it was somebody else’s as they labeled it with the wrong apartment number 2) Outside noise: it is really loud during the night as the sanitation comes every night to pick up the trash and also work is being done on the streets. Wake up almost every night! 3) Pool: closed on certain days when it should be open but no notification 4) Appliances: old and even if they break you get older ones which last for a bit but are just not that great 5) Amenities: Gym and pool area and sometimes lounge area are dirty and sometimes appear run down. Some Gym machines are sticky and floor is very dirty. Sauna is barely cleaned and pool has so much chlorine that sometimes u get a rash. Pool and pool area are a bit dirty. 6) apartments are extremely cold - no insulation! Full glass front window is very thin and apartments are freezing! Be aware that you will have to pay a ton for heating!! Emerald Green responded below that heating is paid for but that is not true. I live in a newly renovated apartment and turning on the heat or AC causes my electricity bill to GO UP TONS! Not sure where this is coming from that it is included in our rent!!!

This building continues to have issues with their amenities. Half of the treadmills are not working, the cross trainers are dirty and very disgusting to touch. Equipment and floor is always dirty. The pool area is dirty too. Today I could not go and swim there because when I arrived there were 20+ people at the pool of which a huge amount in the hot tub and there was plenty of alcohol. Based on what i saw, I don’t think all were residents as there were a lot of bags there too. The pool area is always dirty especially the floor so I guess if people walk in with their street wear and shoes it gets dirty. Just not sure why I am paying for the amenities if I can’t use them. I basically just left after seeing the amount of people and a few of the guys staring at me. Don’t think I need this from people who appear to not even live in my building objectifying me. Today was just annoying!

The building is great, staff is amazing, but since day one I have been complaining that I can’t sleep as the noise that is coming from outside, specifically at night, is very loud and the windows are NOT soundproof. I asked to Move the another unit, after trying by myself multiple things, but I’m still after 3 months, without any solution and support to solve this problem.

I have been in the building for 2.5 years and couldn't recommend this building more. The building itself is beautiful, with an incredible lobby, common area when you enter. The facilities are great and clean (swimming pool, decent gym, great little library, common workspace, great rooftop with views). Management are very professional (contrary to some horror stories I have heard within NYC) and any rare issues within your apartment are quickly addressed and dealt with. The staff within the building, from the building manager (Karina) to the doormen (Delgado, Luis, Reggie, Norman and plenty of others) and postroom (Seb, Chris and the lot) are amazing. While I am sadly moving out of the city, I've had an incredible experience at this building and hope to return to this building (or other Glenwood properties) when i return to the city in the new year
