My mother has been here for about two months now and I wanted to compliment how wonderful the staff has been, she was moved from another facility that wasn't taking care of her, the staff at Veranda calls me almost daily to let me know any changes being made to her medication, diet therapy, ect...my mother's health has improved significantly since she has been there and wanted to let everyone know how happy I am for the care she is receiving. Thanks Veranda for actually caring about my mother's well-being.

This place is more concerned about money than care of patients. I had a family member there and they threatened discharge if we didn’t didn’t sign paperwork so they had financial control. The business office manager, Heather Ellerbusch is disgusting. She confronted my family member with dementia about payment and when that didn’t work she threatened the family that she would discharge the patient and place the family in financial ruin. If you need to complain to their corporate administration the 1-800 complaint line goes nowhere. Possibly because they have so many complaints they just decided not to answer. When you have these kind of bullies you need to report them to ODH or Senior Services legal.
