Here’s your details, owner. Brought my vehicle in for an intermittent blower motor issue. Fan was working when I initially brought the car in so they couldn’t diagnose anything. However, they changed the air filter as if that would fix the problem since “sometimes sticks can get stuck in there and cause that to happen.” Fast forward a couple months, vent fan has been down for a little over a week straight. Call ahead to see if I can bring the car in for a diagnosis only. Was told no, by reception and service manager. Asked what I should do since it’s an intermittent problem. Service manager says to schedule an appointment. Discuss the definition of an intermittent issue for 5 minutes and how scheduling one doesn’t make sense. So I schedule an appointment every day until it’s not working again. Bring the car in and they’re going to charge me a $150 diagnosis fee even if I get the car repaired with them. Of note I’ve had all services my car has needed done with this dealership, including oil changes. Service team confirms with the manager that the diagnosis fee stands. No thanks.

I was told over the phone that it would be $150 for a full vehicle inspection. Upon arrival that was inexplicably raised to 176. Then I was charged $17 for shop supplies, after speaking with friends who worked in dealerships before they said that was nonsense. They did my inspection adequately but the service rep I worked with used pushy sales tactics that were borderline predatory, and the rates for getting repairs done are well above than anyone should pay. Won't be doing my vehicle service here in the future.
