Love that the games are free to play here, most arcade bars where I'm from charge, was a nice reprieve from everything else being pretty pricey in the area. Great atmosphere, good drink selection and really friendly staff too!

Let me begin by saying they have poor customer service and are very rude. I am a black men that tried to enjoy the night with my lady when we decided to come here. I had visit here about a year ago and this seen like a cool spot go to. But tonight the security guard was very rude . I had on a Nike tech when I was stopped by the white security guard saying I wasn’t allowed to come in with jogging pants. Now I know certain Clubs don’t allow people to come in with sweat pants but last time I check this is an arcade bar that don’t have sections or offer bottle service so I don’t know what’s the issue with sweat pants. After that encounter I didn’t argue I just decided change my clothes and come back because they don’t close til 3am when I return back the door was locked and the same security guard didn’t explain why instead he made a rude gesture. Before writing this review I noticed a black women had just posted a Review about this bar and the security guard which proves that there might be discrimination against certain visitors and also miscommunication. These issues need and should be addressed and the security guard who is only a security guard should understand his role and learn how to deal with issues properly. And just because they have a black security guard who’s timid and clearly don’t know how to speak for himself and help others don’t mean anything at all because i feel like they are choosing who they want inside or not.

Let me preface this by saying I am a black woman. I have tried to go on three separate occasions. The first time I went with my best friend was told they weren’t letting anyone else in, we asked if we could just step in to take a picture by the sign we were told that we could but we would have to leave immediately after that. We found some white friends who somehow found a way for us to stay. It seemed like a good time but I was taken aback by the experience I had with the security guard to have an actual opinion about the beercade itself. The second time the security guard said HQ was closing at 12:30 and wouldn’t allow myself and my cousin to come in because they had getting a “bad crowd” but we waited around for an additional 30 min and no one was leaving. The second time I tried to go with my boyfriend and he had on an adidas track suit and they said “no tracksuits”… A few friends of mine have experienced this as well. Overall, it seems like this establishment has no interest in having black customers.

It should be valid, the management might want to apove it.
Emo Brunch is currently sold out; but in case someone cancels or doesn't show up to their reservation you can come in and pay in person.
It is a bar . So it is 21 + there is a Dave n Busters not too far from this location that is family friendly
No. No one under 21 is allowed as it is a bar. If yoy want a placs to bring the kids, go for the Galloping Ghost in Brookfield.
No cover charge and there's usually a DJ. Sometimes they host special events and those require purchased tickets in advance.
No
No idea, check their website.
No cover charge on my visit. ID over 21 required
Yes give them a call
Yes & yes.
Last I checked most of them are free. One of the pinball games requires a dollar to play, however.
11pm
The menu is available through Google maps.
Pay to park street parking unfortunately. About $8 bucks will get you a couple hours though. Institute and Orleans has free parking if you can get lucky enough, and that's the only block in the neighborhood.
I'd recommend reservations if you're having a large party, but if you're solo no need.
Yup, HQ had the stabdard arrary of soft drinks (sodas, etc), but not a huge selection of virign cocktails or anything
You can reserve the basement. It's quite expensive though. I think it's $150 an hour. I really do not think that you need a reservation unless you have more than 50 people. Everything worked out perfect for us and there was probably about 25 people. It was a lot of fun, but I would not recommend spending $150 an hour for the basement. If anything I would put it towards the bill. I hope that helps you, not sure if it did though.
I've had luck finding free parking in some of the smaller streets north of the bar when I've come early or on weeknights.
All of the games are free play except for bubble hockey ($1) and usually one or two of the newest pinball machines, like Game of Thrones.
