They do, but the give you a hard time for it. Almost as if they think it's a fake & will ask you when you were born.
They should because in other bar places they do accept Mexico Consulado ID the new one has now a chip has year of birth since I just to work in bars as a Security but if not sure aleast bring your Mexican Passport that will be enough and ask security if they accept the Consular ID.
You should call and ask if they accept an ID from the Mexican Consulate, which is what I assume you're inquiring.
