I am obsessed with work that the team at Les Amis. I've been into this bake shop many times and have had cakes made before, and this time they outdid themselves. I found this image on Instagram and they duplicated it perfectly. And for how beautiful this cake was on the outside, it was 10x better on the inside. Their version of a chantilly cake is to die for! Every single person that was at this party asked where this came from. Well done Les Amie. You are always my go to for incredible cakes!

Despite hearing many great things about Les Amis Bake Shoppe, I can't recommend this bake shop. Went on a Monday to select birthday treats. Most bakeries in BR are not open on Mondays, unfortunately, so this was my only option in the area. Picked out 4 mini cupcakes, which totaled $9+. Yeesh! Cupcakes were so disappointing. Cake was dry, frosting gritty. Only difference between flavors was what was drizzled or added to top of the frosting. I will not be back. Selection was also underwhelming. No regular sized cupcakes were available. The macarons were limited flavors. Just...not what I was expecting when visiting a bakery. A bakery should tantalize the shopper, not feel like "umm....I guess I'll just get this thing..." Lastly, the look of the shop did not wow me. It feel very hodge podge and lacking an overall aesthetic. I understand that a bakery is not the same as a restaurant, but a "look" and style would go a long ways here.
