Great site. Vault toilet. 11,200 ft so be prepared for high altitude and very chilly night time temps. Sites aren't very large, but do have tables. Trailhead there for some gorgeous hiking up to a vista overlook. Worth it. Do it.

Very peaceful and clean. A very economical choice as well. Our camping spot was spacious, had a very sturdy picnic table and a fire ring. The pit toilet was kept very clean as well, which was much appreciated. The campground is directly across from the West Spanish Peak trailhead. I was amazed by the multitude and brilliance of the stars that I was able to see. The ranger that tends the campground is very cheerful and friendly.

Peaceful and beautiful small campground with fire pit and bathroom for $12 per night. Well kept and gorgeous view from camping and from trail. Even we camped on middle July, got super cold at night so be prepared and bring water to put down fire.
