Beautiful view and full hookups were convenient and worth the price. On-site bathroom/shower did not have a way to lock from the inside which made using them a bit precarious. Overall a good experience and we would stay here again.

We payed $40 for a campsite that ended up being a mowed 6ft wide swath off the side of the driveway with no campfire ring or shelter or anything. I am used to roughing it, but this was rediculius. We arrived at 5pm, no one was there, just a sign on the door telling us where our "camp spot" was. Called the owner, who was quite rude, and told him that this wasn't what we were expecting and were thinking about moving on, and he proceeded to try and tell us that that's how people camp in Nebraska. Well, I am from Nebraska, so I can say that this isn't true. He refused to refund us, even though he wouldn't be out anything. There was plenty of other places along the side of the driveway that others could have camped, so I guess $40 and a bad review are more important to him.

Awesome monument to witness. Friendly folks at the Pioneer Crossing campground. Food, ice cream, and gifts for purchase. Would recommend stopping here.
