Sophia Springs was excellent! Even though we did not stay there, manager Mary was extremely helpful on the phone. We tried to book online, but the site was down. I called this number and spoke to Mary, she was superb and helped us with our questions and reservations, she even called us back when we got disconnected. Unfortunately after I made our reservations I rechecked my emails and calendar and found out we already had booked another location for that time frame months ago. I felt really bad and e-mailed Mary back and explained my mistake , she immediately canceled our reservation ( thank you) Even though we are not going to stay there, their customer service is above and beyond normal! Rare for this day and age. I would highly recommend staying with them when your in Hot Springs Montana .

Scam ALERT!! We have been going here before these owners and loved the place. The new owners billed my credit card for some butterfly dish she claims we took. She scammed us out of an additional $40. We know nothing about the dish and somehow a 9.99 item at Ross turned in to billing my credit card $40. What a joke.. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

We stayed in the two bedroom lodge which was very comfortable. Pros: very clean! Beds were very comfortable and it was very spacious. TV with Netflix was also a nice plus. Cons: We were a bit put off by the demand (written out and left in the kitchen) that we wash and put away all the dishes or we would be charged $20.00 on the day of checkout. We were only left two dishwasher pods so we wound up hand washing some dishes (there are only a few forks and cutlery is limited so we had to hand wash a lot). On check out day we had be out by 11 a.m. - we rushed through breakfast so we could start the dishwasher and then sat around reading, waiting for the dishwasher to be done so could “put away dishes”! It seemed petty to me. Also, a friend of ours who lives in Hot Springs stopped by and was talking to us outside by the deck. . Mary, the host, walked by and questioned whether he was staying there - (the implication being that we had only paid for the 4 of us.). He was standing outside wearing a coat and were we were talking to him from the inside. Again, it just seemed like guests are held under great suspicion which wasn’t warranted. While the house is lovely - it is rather out in the open - I felt a little uncomfortable using the hot tub with people walking by - hopefully at some point they might put up some shrubbery around the deck/hot tub area.

This is a small gravel RV park for 6-8 units that is attached to a separate motel business. The shower building was nice. It doesn't feel like a bathroom, more like a laundromat with some seating with doors to shower rooms. I liked this. The highlight for us was the private hot tub corner filled with the natural hot mineral springs. It could use some string lights for evening use though. I hope the owners keep sprucing up atmosphere and walk approach to the hot tub. Loved that sulfur smell.

Hello Natalie, thank you for your inquiry. Yes, there is geothermal hot springs water onsite.
Not much to add to previous responses, but the suites are very cozy, RV facilities are up to date, and you can walk to anything Hot Springs has to offer.
$125. Full kitchen with washer, dryer and a smart t.v
