Pretty good, would like to stay with my dog the whole time but not a lot of options for that. Hate the two year contract they want you to be on.

I have been a Banfield client (with a wellness plan) for over 10 years. In June, a Banfield veterinarian diagnosed my dog with arthritis, saying that it was the cause of some limping. This past week the limping became much more pronounced. I called the Fort Collins Banfield to see about scheduling an appointment. There was an appointment time that opened up a few days later on a Saturday. This was perfect as I drive about an hour to this Banfield, my closest, for my dog's appointments. When I arrived today for my appointment, I was told that there was no appointment for my dog today. In fact, there was no appointment at all for my dog. On top of that, they were unable to see my dog at all today, even if I was willing to wait as a walk-in. The next possible time my dog could have an appointment without being dropped off and that worked with the one hour commute was over two weeks from today. My dog deserves to not be in pain for two weeks because someone scheduled an appointment for us and then never put it into the computer. There was no effort made to try to address my dog's health concerns. None. We won't return to the Fort Collins Banfield.

No, but you can call us during hospital hours for urgent care advice. Depending on the situation, we can help provide a referral for urgent care, specialty providers, or to an emergency hospital. During non-hospital hours, please contact your local emergency hospital.
We believe that preventive care is the most effective way to keep your pet healthy throughout all stages of life. Our pet hospitals offer many preventive care treatments, including: • Vaccinations • Dental Care • Parasite Control • Nutritional Counseling • Behavioral Counseling • Comprehensive Examinations
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
I look at the Optimum Wellness Plans I have for my 3 pets as wellness checks like when you go to the doctor every year for a physical or you take your child in for a well child check. The Optimum Wellness Plan is just like that. I like how all vaccines are included along with the comprehensive exam every 6 months. Dogs age faster than humans so I like that my vet wants to see my pet every 6 months to make sure all is well. A huge plus too is that you get unlimited office visits on the plan. If I think something is wrong with my pet, I book an appointment and there is no cost for the visit. As an example: I had a pet who had a chronic condition and because I had the Optimum Wellness Plan, I was able to see my vet when he would have a seizure. I want to add THIS IS NOT INSURANCE. It's a great plan to help with preventative care for your pets.
