Not a great but not a terrible company. When we first signed up they forgot to pick up our trash for the first two weeks after we set up service. The thing I was most frustrated with was the price. My grandparents had bunting and paid $30 for two cans, my aunt and uncle have them and they pay $35 for two cans, we were paying $40 for two cans. When I called to switch companies they said they would charge $25 for two cans for the next year “depending on the economy.” I now pay less than that currently.

They would always skip my trash and I would have to be calling them to pick up my trash. Terrible service would not recommend.

I have used Bunting for about two years now as we were unhappy with the service that WM provided. During one of their trash pick ups, our bin was damaged and the lid is gone. I was first told it would take 2-3 business days for replacement and that I needed to keep the bin out on the curb. I notified the HOA of this so that we would not be fined. After 3 business days, still no trash can I called and asked and I was told "early next week," but not to use it for trash. Our trash day came so we filled it with trash and it was picked up, yet still no new trash bin. I called, notified them about a notice from our HOA for potential fines, I was told by them it would be on priority and delivered next day. Still nothing and an HOA ready to implement a significant day by day fine. This one star review is for Bunting Disposal continuing to not correct our issue and also not following through with what they have said. I don't have many options for trash removal, but this service is questionable and awful at best.

I’ve been with Bunting for well over a decade. Currently I’m in the process of moving. I had a little bit extra out there today for them to take away, but when their trash removal people came they only took so much and left everything else. Usually my Bunting disposal trash can is only 1/3 full. If that wasn’t bad enough, the fact that I neatly stacked all the things I need to dispose of , that wasn’t taken by them, was left a mess and scattered all over the place. I called and let them know what would happened and asked them to come back and please pick up the rest of the trash. I was told I would be charge extra. Really, I don’t care if they charge me extra. But the proper way to handle this situation was to go ahead and take everything and then charge me based on what they took. I don’t care that I didn’t get a discount or got charged less every time my trash container was only 1/3 full. But based on the way they handled my situation today, it was very unprofessional. When I moved to my new residence I will not be using them anymore . In addition to this Google review I’m gonna let everybody know, who will listen to me, about my experience.

Do items placed in the provided trash bin, need to be placed in trash bags as well? Or can they just be thrown into the bin?

Bunting Disposal, Inc | Oct 17, 2020

Household trash should always be bagged (kitchen trash, bathroom trash, etc). If the items are bigger (milk cartons, boxes, laundry detergent jug, etc) they can be thrown in the bin without a bag. It's best to not have loose trash in the bin (especially if it's smaller trash) due to the possibility of it blowing out or falling out when the can is dumped. We hope this answers your question. You can always contact our office for more information. Thank you!
