Very pretty park with lots of trees and an open field. There are areas in the bushes where I don't let my kids go because groups of teens/young adults hang out and smoke pot and leave lots of trash behind. There is no playground, but it's still a fun place for kids to play and a good place to walk the dogs. The lake usually has lots of ducks. It also creates a pretty buggy environment in the summer, so bring your bug spray.

So peaceful, love the lake...but no playscape for the kids☹️ Lovely path and benches around the lake. Beautiful trees and grass.

Anyone know why there is a fence around one of the giant trees in this park? Is it just being protected? Just curious, thank you!

Hi Summer, The main trunk of the tree split a while back. There is cabling keeping the tree together, allowing it to keep growing. Because of the split, it's a potential hazard, so the fencing remains in place. -Christina
