This is the most consistently well-made coffee in the area…no coffee shop in southern Chautauqua county comes close to Crown Street in quality. Smooth, flavorful, never bitter. The food I’ve tried so far is also delicious. Staff are very courteous and the couple who own Crown Street are knowledgeable, warm, and kind. They even host coffee tasting classes to explain the art of coffee making, from growing to roasting the bean. The only reason they don’t have 5 stars is because just one coffee they produce is shade grown (“shade grown” protects the rainforests from being plowed down for unneeded full sun on the coffee plants). But many coffee houses have no shade grown coffee, so I applaud Crown Street for at least getting people thinking about this important choice!

Great service, amazing food. The small means small when you order a coffee. Big flavor in a tiny cup. I should have ordered 2 or a bigger size.
