Didn't like the way they treat the homeless as far as the place they put u in the room had bed bugs the way the front desk people treated the homeless the things that I heard from people in the facility also didn't like the way they make I stand outside in the cold for food even people with new born babys I felt they where very strict ran like a jail some reasons I can understand because I have mentally ill people that lived in the same place but for some I didn't I felt they where kinda bias depending on who you were but once you get in the program the good thing was that they do help you enroll your kids in school and they do give you a homeless verification letter I did like that about it also they give you a caseworker but what I didn't like about that was the caseworker was never there too much to answer your phone and even your caseworker always had to go through someone else over them so it's like why am I calling the caseworker I should have just called whoever was over you but that's my opinion I would give three stars but it just needs work far as how they treat the homeless we are people too just because your homeless doesn't mean you're a bad person we actually had a house fire and I got turned down from this place a few times before they even let us in which I felt was bias but I still am thankful.

My family member was in this shelter, and she said, they don't really help you, they give you your mail late, they always threatening to throw the girls out, they keep bus tickets and food sometimes from the women and children in the shelter, and they fire the employees that actually try to help the women, they gave them spoiled macaroni and cheese, this is sad, mc crest need to hire people, who really want to help people.

MCrest is not all it’s cracked up to be especially since they moved in ther new facility. They have changed. Management just sits on ther butt in the office giving orders . They have No idea how it is . They don’t care about ther staff or the homeless. The other day one of the mothers asked for milk for her baby at 9pm and they said no it’s to late . Than the week before they exited a mother with a new born and 3 other little girls. The didn’t give her life skills training like they say they do. She s out the street again. Plus in house there treated like prisoners. Some of the sandwiches I’ve seen given out in there lunch bag is terrible. I’m sorry this isn’t right. I know I worked there and quit. They don’t even have professional cleaners come in . They depend on the staff to do it when they can. This is mine and others observation and it’s not right l. The homeless are real people tooo.

I am very happy I was told about this Program 😁😁 the Staff and the volunteers are Absolutely Wonderful💗🌺🌸💜❣️ they have shown us kindness and support! The only thing that I feel could change is the mask rule being the CDC no longer says we have to wear them. All in all it's a great program to those in need but, you have to have the drive to want to better yourself. Thanks xoxo Jenn 😘❤️🥰

Yes. Good, laundered, new and used clothing.
No but savation army has a food bank also call 211. They will give you a list of place near you.
Yes we do accept those items
What's beanie babies?
Just give them a call or stop in. I have been there a few times to drop things off and they will definitely appreciate the donations.
Dude you want to call at 8am every morning to try to get a spot. And you have to be in to the shelter when you in the program by 5-6p
Yes is their one in Roseville that will let a person stay longer?
I don't know and they moved from this place, door is closed
You're better off finding another location. They barely answer the phones and they're always full .
No,they provide you with all you need.
Yes I'm sure they do because they mainly help women with children.
On Facebook or Amazon
They certainly can provide information concerning that.
The Crest is a homeless shelter
I'm NOT SURE BUT TO GET UR ANSWERS U HAVE TO CALL AND ASKED.
It no matter what situation u are in they will help
Yes, if there is space available. Best to call every day when they open at 9am to see if there there is room.
I believe they can help link you with a person who has been helped through the program and is living in their own home. I don't believe they accept toys at their office but I would check
The best thing to do is call ask to make sure on all questions . I've seen pregnant mom's there,etc...
Hi Mike. Check out www.mcrest.org and fill out a volunteer application and someone from the office will contact you!
No you do not.
They are willing to accept all donations and send it to a good center
MCREST is a 90 day program and entrance is based on available bed space.
Chantia is right i believe- its rotating. I volunteered with them before and kniw they a caring organization. Only thing us im nit sure about the hotel drop off. If i remember right it is a seasonal thing. I'll ask my friends in my church toneight about the details for you so write me back.
We are speaking of a Treatment Center for Opioid Dependency. If you Don't Know. Keep to Yourself. Yes, there are issues with BioMed. Too many people, Not enough Staff, Resources, Etc. FYI - There are other clinics available. If you're not happy, Leave. Do what works for You.
Be there at 9am and, if they have a bed, you're good
Yes just talk to the staff
No up to 90 days
You will be better off calling at 8am tomorrow or go up there
Yes
Yes. Not sure who it will actually go to but yes. If you want it to go to surely go to needy children you can always go to the family resource Center over on N. Rose and groesbeck. The HeadStart/MorningStar section on the side facing N. Rose will either use the toys for their programs or pass it down to families in need. But there are many other organizations like the Homeless Coalition, Macomb Community Action Center, etc in the main building as well
