The floor installers were great , the color of the floor is not what I expected and the transition piece is ok but to much of a dip.

Carpet and flooring is actually beautiful but the flooring was absolutely not the color I picked out with the salesman. I was at work all day and had someone here to sign for it. They didn't know it was the wrong color and the install of the wrong color flooring was completed. The only resolution customer service tried to offer up to me, was to discuss rates for another installation of the flooring I chose in the first place. I asked for a manager to call me back, that hasn't happened. I've asked for my contract several times now for the flooring, a week later and they still haven't given it to me. Now that the incorrect flooring is in my home and its so dark my tiny home looks like a dungeon, they're trying to tell me that the flooring is what's on the contract, the contract that I still havent received. I never picked out an ebony oak floor because it is much too dark for my less than 700sq foot home. What upset me the most was the offer to have pay even more money after I've already spent over $4000 for a floor that i absolutely 100% did not pick out with the salesman and to ask to speak to someone and have not one single manager contact me back to even discuss this or have a face to face with them and the salesman and the two witnesses present in my home when I picked a light colored oak flooring in the first place, is unacceptable and I would never recommend Empire to anyone i know.

Empire has 3rd party company that works on people's houses.they don't have their own employee's.i highly recommend AAM wholesale carpet that's who i hired they did an excellent job.plus they did my whole house for $2,900. Empire told me they will do the whole house for $6,100. Don't believe me look at they reviews.good luck with empire
