It was a very enjoyable and educational experience, I took the tour by buying tickets in advance online and showing up for the time I picked. It was interactive but not crowded, and not only did we get to see where Hemingway was born, but our tour guide gave us lots of interesting facts and tales from his youth that included his family members and what he learned from them at that age. They also have a small little gift shop featuring books, t shirts, and other small knickknacks to remember your trip there. A very special place to visit that I highly recommend to anyone and everyone, no matter if you live in Chicago or are a visitor.

I liked the fact the tour incorporates many pictures to piece together the family history. Very few original pieces but worth the visit nonetheless
