I buried my mom in 2021, We were told the cemetery would be clean several. After making several visits to visit mom. I had to remove old flower to add the new. The funny thing about this situation. I took a Sheppard hook. A week later it was removed. They charge all of this money you could barely find your love one. The pavement is rough with hold throughout the lots. I paid for my mom' headstone to be delivered. When calling it was not placed down. When calling back left message no answer or respond. I still don't know if mom headstone is down. A bad situation

I went the day before Father’s Day to put fresh flowers on my dad’s grave ( we use fake flowers). The flowers from last year was still there with grass so high around his headstone I just started pulling it up myself. Before ownership changed the grass was mowed every week and the flowers were cleared from the graves every winter. They just not be paying landscaping. Huge Potholes are everywhere. The new owners have destroyed this place. I see why everyone buries their loved ones in hillside now.

It's devastating to visit your loved one and find their resting place with knee deep grass with multiple deer resting and walking around. It's my prayer that Forest Home Cemetery correct this issue ASAP!

To find a grave in a cemetery, at least a large one like Forest Home, go to the office and ask. Most large cemeteries (I’ve no direct experience here) will give you a map that will get you to the right section easily enough; unless it is unusually well-marked, you will have to do some searching in that section to find a specific grave marker. If you have trouble searching and you’re lucky enough to see one of the cemetery workers nearby, you can flag him down; they often know the grid.

The gates close at 4 p.m., maybe 5 in the summer.

Contact the main office there at Forest Home Cemetary. I dont work directly for the cemetary, all I can suggest is to go into the main office during business hours.
As best I can tell, they’re open 8-4 seven days a week. I don’t know about holidays.
Yes it should be it probably close early, but yes it open.
