One of my favorite parks! Beautiful pond, lovely trees and immaculately cared for paths and grounds.

The wildflowers are starting to bloom. There were a few ducks, but I didn't get any photos of them. A peaceful place to explore.

Huge camp sites with a lot of distance between each. Very peaceful and clean. Water pumps and fire pits at every site. Lake stocked with fish. Primitive toilet buildings, men's and women's separate. Beautiful landscape, especially in the fall. Far enough away from the city that it feels secluded, but close enough that stores, gas, and restaurants are a short drive away. By far, one of the best places I've ever camped. We make the drive from Ohio every year to relax and recharge.

Questions & Answers

I see buffalo in the pictures for this place, but I have been here three times & not seen any. Where are they, or why are they no longer here?

They were relocated to a different park about two years ago during the lake dredging.
