Lots of parking this time. I've seen this yard stuffed to limit but not the case this time. They have a guard at the gate though I don't know why they have to take your BOL and hold it till you leave. That part is a pain but not too bad when they're quick about it. Well stocked vending machines if you need some food. Sandwiches and things like that.

Plenty of parking spaces but your day time security guard needs an attitude adjustment. I was told by knight Transportation corporate office Personnel to bring my trailer with 1 pallet of candy to the Fontana yard for disposal and security guard argued with me for 30 minutes saying I couldn't disposal of anything here because of terminal management. So he called the terminal manager again and the manager told him to let me in and drop the trailer anywhere on the property. Very poor treatment. I have been with Knight Transportation for 10 years as a company driver and I never been disrespected like that. This security guard needs to treat Knight Transportation drivers with respect

Nice terminal. The shop can only do a few things. They have a really hard time finding loads out of here. You find yourself going back and forth from Wa to Ca. With the fuel prices, the traffic, and the hills, plus the 55mph it hard to make any money going back and forth from Wa to Ca.

Love the new showers, vending machine, the tv lounge area, that ice machine is to die for! Thanks to whoever brought in the donuts they were super yummy. Great amount of parking.

The weekly pay is $425 while you're in school and once you graduate from the school you'll see $100 increase per week and once you seat your own truck, you'll get another pay increase. The Hutchins yard is open on Saturdays but usually not a full crew amd only a half day.
I was charged for training after finishing, and was working for a great transportation company immediately after compleation. I did not pay for training, I lived close enough to drive to training.
