.y granddaughter and I went to see Tom and Jerry today at Regal Cinemas. I have always loved their kids summer movies. I used to bring my older grandchildren (now they're 19 and 21!) I gave it 3 stars because it's such a sad place to go. I know the economy hasn't picked up very much (and the regular prices have skyrocked) and COVID almost destroyed all theatres. It's so sad because when my oldest grandchildren went with me it was packed with children and the outside was exciting with it's movie banners. Now there were eight of us in the entire theater, including adults. The outside looks kind of rundown. It's the best thing you can do with your kids in the summer and still be able to afford it. I think they need to clean it up a little and advertise their summer movies for kids. That draws parents too and I know I was looking at the posters for grownup movies.

Place is really outdated. Small screens, no recliner seats, and the theatre was extremely hot. The prices are the same if not higher than AMG or Horizon for a lower quality experience. You should not have to sit uncomfortable for a 3 hour movie. The AC was not on, it was colder outside than inside the theater. Only pros are a decent snack selection and location.

I went a couple of days ago and I was talking to Joe I believe on what theater room I needed to go to, he sounded very rude and lethargic. When I asked where the restrooms were about half way through the movie he started yelling at us like we were a bother to him. Later after the movie I saw a very young manager yelling at some employees by the food stand and I felt bad because they almost look like they were about to cry. Movie itself was nice but the staffing could probably get worked on a bit.

I went to the Regal Theater with my Marine & saw Ghostbusters Afterlife. The theater parking area, lobby, bathrooms & the theater itself, were very clean. The staff was very courteous & attentive. The seating was comfortable, the sound & picture quality were good. There were tons of snack options, but we opted for popcorn & sodas. The popcorn was delicious... Not soggy & they put just the right amount of butter on it. The sodas were cold & perfectly sweet (been to lots of theaters where the popcorn was soggy & the soda was flat). It was the perfect date night for us. If you like an old fashioned date in a movie theater, I highly recommend this theater!

Regal is technically in Abingdon. About a 15 min. drive from Baltimore Pike in Bel Air.
it depends when they are showing the $1 movie, which is "Small foot" & "Secret Life of Pets". check with the theater for showing times for these 2 films.
Prices vary depending on the size. Don't think butter is extra.
