We’ve been taking our cat Tuna here since we adopted her three years ago. The vets always do a great job and the staff is friendly and efficient. Most recently, our very anxious & fearful cat saw Dr Jasmine Mengers and LOVED her. Tuna usually comes back from the vet and sulks under the sofa, but this time, she came back perky and playful after seeing Dr Mengers!

Taylor was AMAZING! My dog started having a seizure. She came in and swept him up and got him medical care immediately. Afterwards, made sure he was comfortable, and me too! Dr. Jones is the best veterinarian I have ever had. Took the time to review all his records, explained all his current tests in great detail and answered all my questions. I never felt rushed. We had to put him down recently, but he had the best care. Thank you so much for your service!

I cannot say enough good things about this place!! 10/10 highly recommend!! We loved the place so much for our Tortoise that we want to take all of our pets to this veterinary hospital. All the staff are awesome and Dr. Gold was friendly, patient and knowledgeable. I wish I’d have gotten the lady’s name when I first called to see if they would see our tortoise. She was by far the light at the end of the tunnel after calling several places and no one would see a tortoise and wasn’t half as friendly as she was. She was so kind and compassionate and I’m so grateful for her kindness. Clean environment and wonderful staff! Chadwell is the best! Thank you so much!

Couple weeks ago my wife passed away. I had no clue as to what health care our animals had received or were due. I have one cat with a Thyroid problem, another cat with diabetes and my dog with allergy’s. That’s on top of 3 new kittens my wife had rescued. So I visited with the team at Chadwell ( who my wife trusted with our pets). When I arrived at Chadwell, I was an emotional reck losing my wife a week before, and having to deal with the animals ( who were having issues of there owe ). Fortunately for me, I met with Dana ( staff member ) who sat me down and went through all the animals history with me. She also schedule updates for all the animals and possibly save one of my cats from dying. I was so relieved when I left. Upon arriving at my next visit, Dana came out to the waiting area and sat down next to me to inquire as to how I was coping with my wife’s passing. Then she asked “ is their anything we could do for to ease the pain?” Chadwell Animal Hospital will always be the care takers of my pets. The personal care they have for the entire family is amazing. They are truly the best.

Generally it's $30-50 per rat when I visit for a check up. I believe I paid about $40-50 for mite treatment for all 6 of my rats at the time
My wife and I have been going to Chadwell Veterinarian for 15-20 years for our cats, and we were never hit with charging fees , never heard of it .

There are credit options. But you can call and ask them. They are good at working with you on fees, but you still have to pay for services rendered.
From what I gather its pretty reasonable. I think you need an exam with it to make sure you furry buddy is healthy. We have had two pets spayed and and one neutered. If it was unreasonable i would have remembered the cost.
I'm not sure about Chadwell but if you call the greater ASPCA humane society of Baltimore, I believe that on some given dates they hold free to low cost health / care services in they city for people who are in need of assistance. These are local vetenarians who donate their time to help.
I would call them and ask. They will assess very well over the phone the likely cause and if it is an emergency or not. They did the same for me and were 100% correct. My situation ended up being an emergency but now thanks to them Cruiser is completely well. The prices are very fair and they will do their best to keep it as inexpensive as possible.
