This place has been awesome. We stayed in cabin 2 nice a clean. There was only 4 of us but there was room for more to sleep. The living room was small but good for the 4 of us. Pool for the kids to play in. We went on a walk just to check out the grounds and it was so quiet and peaceful. Would definitely come back to stay if in the area.

Set off in the Woods aliil...quiet, the pool is always cleaned. ( I go 4xs a week😁) Management is on point. Grass stays a little high, and the putt putt golf upfront is the real deal..grandbabies loved it ❤ People from every where stay here. Yes, I would definitely recommend this RV park.

2022 UPDATE; We were passing through the area of Slidell again and took a look at this place out of curiosity and the reviews were much more promising!! Decided to give it another shot. There is new ownership and man have things changed for the better!! The grounds overall are much more orderly and in better repair. The pool is clean and ready for swimmers. The laundry room is spotless, and the machines updated with a QR code for using a credit card. There has been a lot of improvements and they show no signs of stopping. I officially change my review to 5 stars! Thanks Audobon, we will be back!! —————————————————————- OK, if you are looking for a place to park your trailer and have hook ups this place will work. If you plan to spend any time inside of the park especially with children this is NOT the place. Everything is in terrible disrepair. All of the fences are falling down, there are heaps of lumber/tarps/building materials just laying around. There is an abandoned golf cart parked in the middle of a grassy area that has yet to be mowed. The pool, 1/2 full and full of algae and who knows what. The miniature golf area is unmaintained and all of the pavement is falling apart. The laundry room is unusable. I was appalled and decided to use a laundromat down the road. For the first time ever we felt it necessary to keep all of our storage compartments/the doors to the trailer/the truck locked at all times. Just pay a bit more and stay at the clean park just up the road.

A great park! Travelling across country and were lucky enough to stay here. The new owner is a great guy and is putting a lot of work into the park. His staff are friendly, welcoming and are focused on making every detail of your stay pleasant, from recommending things to do in town, to making sure everything is in perfect working condition. Can't wait to come back. When I'm in Louisiana, I will be staying here.
