Slidell I-10 Rest Area and Louisiana Visitor's Center

Attendants were very friendly courteous and informative. Served excellent coffee great conversation. Rest rooms were very clean not crowded but was being used heavenly. Plenty of stalls. Soap was in soap dispenser hand drier worked excellent. Excellant walking trail for animals and adults to children. Excellent not place to stop for a family break. Safe and secure.

This rest area is very well lit and offers plenty of area to walk your dog. The restrooms are huge and fairly clean all things considered. They offer a large variety of vending machines, if your stop brings you by after hours. About the only thing they may lack are showering facilities, However it was late and I may have overlooked them.

Alcadio Ortiz

This location offers attic with parking spaces truck drivers and RVs. There is a guard on duty was very proactive on monitoring the location to make sure no tractor trailers are blocking the road. This being said I came in at night and all the spots will take it however I was able to park behind the trucks leaving way more than enough space for trucks to get through and I wasn’t harass or to leave. Facility is clean plenty of area to walk your pets and bathrooms or conveniently situated in the center of the location

Beautiful Clean and modern Welcome Center to Louisiana. As I travel in my RV Full Time I can tell this is the One of the best Rest Areas with a RV dumb station. 💥🍀🔥
