Very busy laundry mat, at times. Kept reasonably clean. The laundry mat is in a convenient location of Slidell's town center. The post office, police and fire department, City Auditorium and city administrative buildings, etc. are within 1-2 blocks of the laundry mat. The laundry mat has cameras inside and outside of the building. There is ample parking at the laundry mat in the front and back of the building. There is a bathroom, game and refreshment/snack machines. There are vending machines for getting change and laundry products. There is usually approximately 95% of the machines working at the times I've visited the laundry mat.

I've had to start going to soap city bc the machines at sunshine laundry keeps taking my $$ I've lost 17 $ last month. It used to be a nice place nice people there . Need to keep the machines fixed plz sunshine has awesome hours !😥❣

I would recommend this laundry to anyone and I'm speaking as a relative newbie to the laundromat life. It looks seedy from the outside, but they have really improved on the cleanliness of the wash area and restrooms. It's rarely unkempt inside. I also like it due to the fact that whether I do my laundry at 3pm or 3am, I've yet to encounter a situation where I feel unsafe. The prices seem pretty fair for a coin laundry, although this is the first laundromat I've used and I only launder for myself. It's $5 for a 3 load capacity wash ($2.50 for a single load) and regular dryers are $. 25 for 4 minutes Overall, not fancy, but a good number of washers and dryers in a nice well lit area.
