Was impressed with this place so far. Edit/update. It has been almost 2 years since I had my Lasik done and I couldn't be happier. They really know what they are doing 10/10

I went to Hoopes Vision to be screened for cataract surgery. They were thorough, professional, and ready to answer all of my questions. Also, they made good use of my time and theirs. They will be performing my surgery.

Yes! My doctor discussed it with me but since I had never done contacts like that he didn't want to do surgery that way.

The aftercare exam itself was fairly quick, I spent about 5 minutes with a tech and then about 10 minutes with the Dr. I spent about a total 25 minutes waiting in the exam/waiting rooms. So about 40 minutes in total.

Do you take patients with no insurance

Hoopes Vision | Feb 18, 2022

We offer a self pay price for patients without insurance needing a medically necessary procedure such as cataracts. LASIK is an elective surgery and is not covered by insurance.

How much is the surgery and do you do payment plans ?

The cost of Refractive procedures (LASIK and PRK) at our office is $2450 per eye ($4900 for both), which includes all post-operative care for 12 months. However, we are running a WONDERFUL SPECIAL right now! Receive $400.00 off per eye ($800.00 off for both) when you schedule your vision correction with us. *Discounts are offered to new patients, who've not had previous eye surgery or been diagnosed with an eye condition.* Your price after the promo is $2050.00 per eye ($4100.00 total). You just need to mention the special when you are booking your evaluation. Let the scheduler know that you heard about it through GMB Questions. The FDA has approved LASIK/PRK from the ages of 18-60. We offer a complimentary comprehensive exam for new patients, who've not had prior eye surgery or been diagnosed with any eye condition like cataracts, keratoconus, etc. The first step is the evaluation to determine if you're a good candidate for LASIK or any of our other corrective procedures.

It will depend on the condition of each individual and the health insurance coverage. I recommend consulting with a doctor at Hoopes Vision for your specific needs.
