My family and I stayed a night here on our way back from Disney World. We were looking for a nice, safe, comfortable place to stay AND WE FOUND IT. This particular location is really nice. The staff was super friendly, our room was very clean, and the indoor pool was a blast for our daughter. If we’re passing through Albany in the future, we’ll definitely stay here again.

I have stayed in several other Holiday Inn Express before and this was the worst experience of them all. Front desk lady was not helpful when I was having card issues with my corporate reservation. The hallway walls had peeling wall paper and stains/spots. Shower floor had peeling caulk and was dirty. Hot water took 8-10 minutes to get warm (never got hot). The WiFi was very slow and almost useless. Only gave 3 stars because the breakfast was exceptional.

I have stayed at many Holiday Inn Express hotels around the country and have an expectation for the brand. I stayed one night two weeks apart (March 12 and 26) due to travel and feel this one needs to step up their game. On a positive note the bed was comfortable both times, the shower was nice and the staff was pleasant. On the negative side the room was not as clean as it should be, it did not have any cups at all-coffee or in the bathroom-we didn't feel like calling to get some, there was no tv channel guide-who wants to scroll through the guide-post it on the wall if you don't want people touching it, the breakfast selection was very poor the second stay-no hot cinnamon buns, no gravy for the biscuits, no scrambled eggs, no butter, no jelly, limited yogurt and milk selection and they only had one pot of coffee going so we had to wait, , They had apples and oranges but no bananas. On the first stay we were in a rush to leave so we only grabbed a coffee so I am not sure what the breakfast was like on March 13. I felt like with the money we paid we didn't get a good deal. Although I stayed there twice at this point I'm not sure I would again.

My favorite hotel in Albany. Stayed 3 months during my divorce. They were kind and compassionate during that hard time. That was in 2019. I just stayed there recently last week. Almost all of the same staff are still working there. Great staff. Great place to stay.
