My review is very specific to my experience, I went to buy a suite in the needs Depot department and found the sales person to be extremely knowledgeable and understood my specific needs, he went out of his way to find the best shirt and tie combo from different parts of the store, I was very pleased however the price tag was very high

Love this location of Bloomingdales' - more upscale and better customer service than their store at Tysons - not to say that Tysons store is bad - but this is better :) Though some brands have their mini-stores at Tysons like LV and Gucci but not here. Like the collection here and I love this is my default Bloomies to go to now! I have been able to get stuff that I liked - no loved - at a good price during my last few visits here!

Ms. Tsehay in the Dress Salon was absolutely wonderful and reminded me of what I was missing in the store by shopping online. The selection of women's brands and formal dresses is better here than other department stores.

It isn't as high-end or expensive as Neimans, but I find the value to be far better if you can find upper-end men's clothing like Eton on sale for 50% off. The return policy is liberal and far better than a Saks or Neiman's, but not as good as Nordstroms. I find what Aaron Rogers wrote about "accessible up scale" to ring very true. You can get good quality here without spending a mortgage payment unlike Neiman's. The service in Chevy Chase isn't great, however. After shoping here for many years, I find Nordstroms or Neiman's to be far superior.
