Good place to buy string instruments but look elsewhere for repair services. Had a really positive experience buying my cello from here - very welcoming staff and let me try a bunch out. But I took my cello in to have a new peg fitted and it came back with a chip in the body. Very disappointed they didn’t take better care of my cello whilst working on it

I bet they do
They can certainly replace a bridge on a violin. I'm an upright bassist and I've been going to David Gage since the 90s. My wife who plays violin got her bridge replaced there. There's no way you can wait there and have it done the day of as it takes a while and it's a very intricate process. Depends on if your Bridge has collapsed or not it can be anywhere from $150 to 300 and that's just me giving you an estimate. Please do not quote me on the exact price. If the bridge on your violin has collapsed then they're going to have to reset the sound post or possibly give you an entirely new sound post. Good luck!
Do you mean putting on strings or actually wanting to tune it? This store is known for its restoration and repair of basses primarily but they do have a department that cares for all string instruments.
