The whole "park" is four parking spots. It's a good place to park to use the clear Creek trail, which is scenic and quiet. The access road to Johnson Park is a tiny dirt road with room for just one car, and it's easy to miss the turn from the main road

Surprisingly quiet and hidden, considering it's literally right off I-70 and Wadsworth! You'd never know it with all the beauty of your surroundings, filled with lots of giant, older trees and a river close by. There's even a little fishing pond, filled with little fish, Crawdads, and frogs!! My family and I LOVE this little park!

Like most Jefferson County Parks and trails they close from dusk until dawn / sun down to sun up. Although, as long as you have a fishing license maybe just trying to catch catfish or something and aren't out causing Chaos, I doubt you'd be harassed by authorities...too much!

The park is the size of a small parking lot, but it connects to a huge trail system that goes on "forever"
