I loved this place, it is fun, and me, I love the whirlpool.

3 lap swimming lanes, wide for easy sharing. Lockers (bring your own lock) located on the pool deck, not the changing room, a bit of an inconvenience, IMO.

Great inexpensive place to go with the kids. They have 1 slide, lazy river, and a whirlpool for the kids. They also have a splash pad for toddlers and a small slide. Lap pools are available for adults or experienced swimmer's. Friendly welcoming staff.

Great place to take your kids out when you need a little relaxation with family

Theres a McDonalds
No
Yes, no glass or alcohol. They have picnic tables and you set up for the day.
Four dollars for children and adults eight. We went on a sunday. Worth it on in my opinion. They have a toddler area an huge adult slide. Kids will love it!
All ages
The pool is heated. The water temp is 84 degrees. For a young infant I would suggest a swim shirt (or even just a onesie) over a swim diaper to help keep him warm. And bring several towels for both you and him to take breaks often. 84 degrees is warm but for an infant they will need freqent breaks to maintain a comfortable body temperature. We look forward to seeing you at the pool. Oh, and another good point; admission for all infants under 1 year old is free with a paying adult.
Yes, You are allowed to bring food and drinks just not alcohol and glass!
Yes. The pool will be open. Call ahead if you want to know if the water slide will be open. Sometimes they are short staffed.
Yes, but it will be closed this October for maintenance.
The price may have changed but because I'm not a Raleigh resident I had to pay 10 dollars as an adult. Cheaper as a resident or child. No limit on how long you stay
Good Afternoon Connie. Right now there are some days that we are short staffed which have cause us to modify our hours. I would recommend calling the facility @ 919-996-5600 and selecting option 7 to hear the most up to date hours. Please visit https://raleighnc.gov/aquatics#paragraph--232801 for a full list of our prices. Thanks so much!
Good Morning Kassidy. The facility is currently closed for Annual Maintenance from Monday, February 14th-Sunday, March 13th. We will reopen on Monday, March 14th. I would recommend calling the facility @ 919-996-5600 a few days prior to your visit to hear the most up to date hours. Please visit https://raleighnc.gov/aquatics#paragraph--232801 for a full list of our prices. Thanks!
Yes, it is near the entrance to the area. They also have a track.
Not at this pool
M-Sa 10am-7pm, closes from 2-3 for cleaning. Sun 1-5.
Visit this web page - https://raleighnc.gov/aquatics. Please note that there are different prices for Buffaloe Rd. Aquatic Center than those for the other Raleigh Pools.
Tickets sold only in the building. Online registration is adviced to secure your spot thought, but not a must
Open to the public but they're currently closed until the 8th due to maintenance. You do pay a small fee to swim
Yes, we are open to all ages. The large waterslide is a blast for adults. Water Basketball and Water Volleyball aren't available right now due to physical distancing restrictions.
84 degrees is what previous comments say
Not sure yet. But I haven't seen anybody going inside either.
They do. They have an area, right before the pool that you can set up.
Is the pool heated?
It's a dollar or 2 more than what their site says. We found that out when arriving, but still pretty cheap.
Yes, we welcome everyone. However the fees are higher for non-Raleigh residents. If you plan to come often the best deal is to purchase a 15 admission Punch Pass. The price per admission is substantially discounted. We also allow another individual who is a caregiver to enter at no charge as an accommodation for individuals with a disability (if desired/needed).
We welcome everyone. If you don't live in the City of Raleigh the prices are higher. Visit this web page and click on fees - be sure you are viewing the fees for Buffaloe Rd Aquatic Center (our fees are higher than other Raleigh pools) https://www.raleighnc.gov/parks/content/ParksRec/Articles/Programs/Aquatics/Pools.html
Yes, we do. Here is a link to all Raleigh Parks & Recreation programs. https://www.raleighnc.gov/content/ParksRec/Documents/Publications/LeisureLedger.pdf
The lazy river is I think 4'. Not sure what swimming lanes are.
Most of the pool is 3.5 ft deep. However, the 3 lap lanes depth is from 3.5 feet to 5.5 feet.
Says it's open good Friday from 10-7
No
It's closed Easter Sunday. I'm here now and it's posted on the door.
