The pool is heated. The water temp is 84 degrees. For a young infant I would suggest a swim shirt (or even just a onesie) over a swim diaper to help keep him warm. And bring several towels for both you and him to take breaks often. 84 degrees is warm but for an infant they will need freqent breaks to maintain a comfortable body temperature. No, however you can start out in the small kids pool until you get comfortable & them move to the big pool. They have a long bench under the water where you can sit to get the baby use to the water in safety. It's a great place to go! Enjoy
