It was our first visit to Hot Springs, Arkansas. Took the Sunset Trail on a sunday morning to past some time and ended up taking a 2 hr stroll. Lol. On this morning the trail had some fog that hadn't lifted yet so we took lots of photos which is why it turned into a longer walk than planned. Trail was so quiet that you could only hear the drew and leaves drop though the trees. Since it was a Sunday we even heard the church bells ringing nearby. The only wildlife we saw was a deer at the beginning of the trail. Trail is easy to walk. Mountain rock exposes itself through the woods and on the trail. There was also fallen trees and moss growing along the trail.

Beautiful way to spend extra time, or just a simple getaway...

Hi Marva, Sharon's correct, I have walked those trails many times and have never seen more than a deer or two as she said above. So no worries, about dangerous wildlife. Happy traileing!
