I had the chain sharpened on my 25 year old Shindawa and a lawn mower repaired. I paid to have both delivered to my home since i dont drive for medical reasons. The chain wasn't delivered with the lawn mower and when i called to tell them, I was told i would have to pick it up at the shop despite having paid for delivery. I patronized art's over the years because they are a union shop. I had purchased 2 stihl chainsaws over the last couple of decades but the Shindawa oulasted both of them. Besides being overpriced the service has obviously declined. I'll spend my money elsewhere in the future.

Thanks for writing. Most mowers needing diagnosing & repair work are not able to be fixed the same day, and are put into line with previous drop-offs. We do offer FREE loaner mowers to help you keep your grass under control. (The spring rush causes our longest wait periods.) There is NEXT DAY service for sharpening blades, recoil repairs, and other options. Equipment purchased here that have warranty issues also have priority service. It is probably best to call into our service department, so that they can get all the details to completely answer your question. Thanks again.
We have multiple options for financing! The most attractive offers come thru the brand of equipment you are interested in. For example, right now thru John Deere all their residential riding mowers offer 0% from 9 months to 60 months (depending on model). Our Toro, Kubota, and Exmark brands offer their own incentives as well. For customers who are trying to build-up their credit history--we also offer financing thru TimePayment on all brands. If I assume you have a standard walk mower, and the water just needs to be flushed from your fuel system--this can normally be corrected for $50 labor, which is our minimum. If you needed a new filter or plug--they would be additional. If any other damage is noted, they could contact you. If you need to bring your mower in for service--we do offer FREE loaner mowers to help you keep your grass under control. Please give us a call for more details. Thanks again.
